US Punters Lose eCashUS?
I felt a chill down my spine when I heard about the current plight of eCheckUS and I’ve been thinking what would happen to US online gambling if more and more fund processors fall victim to state and federal online gambling laws? Looks like both the federal and state laws are concentrating more on online gambling industry even as talks of online gambling legalization is going on in the US.
It is still not clear as to why eCashUS which is one of the most favored deposit options of American online gamblers suddenly stopped offering services. Initially everyone thought that it must have been a small operational issue but the problem seems to be lot bigger than that as many online casinos that previously offered this processor are quick to remove it from their list of fund transfer methods. Some even speculate that the federal law has even seized funds and equipments belonging to this processor.
One of the online casinos even went to the extent of stating that they were informed by ECheck that they did not offer services in the US anymore. The casino also stated that this has led to the removal of this processor from their banking pages and it also added a not of apology for the inconvenience caused.
This leaves American online casinos with fewer and fewer alternative payment options to fund their player accounts and what is more frightening is that the government is always finding ways to make things harder for online casinos and online casino gamblers by coming up with new legislations as talks about legalizing online casinos are underway.
Is it to say that after a certain point of time the state and federal government will come up with new legislation that will favour online casinos and online gambling? Or is it going to be the toughest time that online casinos have to go through?
